Supporting Perinatal Providers in the Current Mental Health Landscape

October 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Perinatal healthcare and behavioral health providers are working amid heightened scrutiny, uncertainty, and emotional pressure. Burnout, moral distress and injury, fear of missing warning signs, professional isolation, and the cumulative weight of caring for families during vulnerable periods can take a significant toll.

This webinar introduces the GPS Group Peer Support Model as a structured, trauma-informed, non-clinical approach to supporting perinatal providers.

Participants will explore how peer support can reduce isolation, create space for reflection and connection, and help providers navigate uncertainty and emotionally complex experiences.

Through reflection and practical examples, participants will also consider how structured peer support can complement clinical care, supervision, and organizational wellbeing resources, and strengthen sustainable systems of support for the people caring for perinatal families.
