This is both a resource and step-by-step guide for facilitators to lead successful groups for individuals in recovery. This curriculum includes discussions about trauma, both personal and intersectional, as well as stigmatizing language and the power of groups for recovery. 8 sessions follow the GPS Model step-by-step and covers essential topics such as The Realities of Recovery, Healthy Behaviors and Relationships, Relationship Grief, Loss, Guilt and Regret, Managing Triggers, Building Resilience, Self-acceptance and Gratitude.
