CIRCLES OF CONNECTION

GPS Circles of Connection Boston Research Study

Are you a member of the Greater Boston Jewish community who is feeling more stress, anxiety, and isolation in the wake of October 7th? Would you like to connect with others to talk about it?

GPS Circles of Connection is partnering with the Boston Jewish community to implement peer-led support circles that will focus on addressing feelings of loss and grief, historical and personal trauma, fear, anger, and overwhelm, all through a Jewish lens. Using the power of community and connection, these circles aim to build our individual and collective resilience.

We are looking for volunteers to help us in the research phase of this work by attending a pilot virtual support circle. Your participation and insights will be invaluable as we develop this important initiative.

What’s involved in participating?

  • Fill out an application to participate
  • Complete a survey (20 minutes)
  • Attend a 90 minute virtual support circle facilitated by GPS
  • Complete another survey after the support circle (20 minutes)
  • Participate in an optional focus group to share deeper feedback (60-90 minutes)
  • Receive a gift card of up to $126 as thanks for your participation
